1.For the Church: that the least among us may be counted great, and that she may receive every child in the name of Jesus, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

3.For the poor, the sick, abandoned children and prisoners, whom Saint Vincent de Paul served: that they may find in us the same charity, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

1.For the Church: that Saint Michael may defend her in the day of battle, and that she may overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of her testimony, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.For all peoples, nations and languages: that they may serve the Son of Man, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

The readings in brief: God says it is not good for the man to be alone, and makes the woman from his side; the two become one flesh. The Letter to the Hebrews says that Jesus tasted death for everyone and is not ashamed to call us his brothers and sisters. Asked about divorce, Jesus answers that what God has joined no one must separate; then he takes the children in his arms and blesses them.

Option 1
1.For the Church: that she may uphold marriage as God made it from the beginning, and stay close to those whose marriages have broken, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.For those who make laws on marriage and the family: that these may be shaped not by hardness of heart, but by the good of spouses and children, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For husbands and wives: that what God has joined together no one may put asunder, and that they may see their children's children, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
