We believe that the Prayer of the Faithful is a profound and powerful element of the sacred liturgy.
These bidding prayers give voice to the needs of the Church and raise the minds and hearts of the faithful to the things of Heaven.
However, composing intercessions that are reverent, liturgically appropriate, and capture the depth of human experiences is a sacred challenge.
There are myriad spiritual and temporal circumstances that the prayers must prayerfully account for each week. From global conflicts to personal trials, celebrations of new life to the consolation of grieving souls.
Our goal is to provide a trusted resource of carefully crafted bidding prayers to enrich this vital component of the Mass.
We strive to write these prayers in a manner that is scripturally enriched, theologically faithful, and authentically conveys the heart of the Church.
All prayers are meticulously composed in accordance with the directives of the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM) and the spiritual wisdom of the Church’s liturgical tradition.
Each set of intercessions goes through a rigorous process of writing, editing, feedback, and review by seminarians and priests alike before publication.
