4.That women and men who serve the Church and the poor from their own means, following the example of Mary Magdalene and the holy women who accompanied our Lord, may be sustained and honored in their vocation, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.That the sick, the lonely, the outcast, and all who feel unworthy to approach God may find in Christ the same tender welcome he showed to the sinful woman at the Pharisee’s table, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
Optional:For all who struggle to believe they can be forgiven, that they may encounter the mercy of Christ and be freed from despairLord, hear our prayer.
That N. and all who have died may be received into the arms of a merciful God, whose love forgives abundantly and restores what sin has taken away, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

Option 2

1.That the Church, like the community of disciples who followed Jesus from Galilee, may be a home for all who have been forgiven much and who therefore love much, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That our parish community may resist the spirit of the Pharisee — which judges and excludes — and instead embrace the spirit of Christ, who sees faith and love where others see only failure, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.That civil leaders and those in authority may govern with mercy as well as justice, recognizing the dignity of every person regardless of their past, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That all who minister in the Church — chaplains, counselors, confessors, and catechists — may embody the patience of Christ, accompanying sinners on the road toward healing and wholeness, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.That those who have grown cold in their faith, taking God’s love for granted, may be stirred to grateful love by a renewed encounter with the mercy that has been shown to them, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
Optional:For unity in our communities, that judgment may give way to grace and that those who have been estranged may be welcomed back to the table of the LordLord, hear our prayer.
That N. and all the faithful departed, who trusted in the mercy of God during their earthly lives, may now rest in the fullness of that mercy in eternal life, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

Pro Life Option

2.That all who carry the grief and guilt of choices made under pressure, desperation, or fear may hear the words of Jesus — “Your sins are forgiven; your faith has saved you” — and be healed by the power of divine mercy, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.That those who work in pregnancy resource centers, post-abortion healing ministries, and maternal care programs may follow the example of the women disciples who served Christ from their own means, giving generously of themselves for the most vulnerable, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That our society may come to cherish and protect every human life from conception to natural death, seeing in each unborn child and each wounded mother the face of one beloved by God and worthy of welcome, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.That the hearts of those who judge or condemn women in difficult pregnancies may be opened by the parable of the two debtors, recognizing that we who have been forgiven much are called to love much and to condemn nothing, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
