4.That we may offer God our own fiat today — surrendering whatever we have been holding back, trusting His design is better than our own, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.That our parish may receive every new life with the joy the angel announced — recognising in each child a gift prepared by God, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

1.For the Church, that she may proclaim the Incarnation as the central mystery of our salvation — that in the womb of Mary, God became one of us and redeemed all human life, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That governing authorities may come to see, in the light of the Incarnation, that human life deserves protection from its very first moment, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those who feel unable to hear God's voice because of grief, illness, or despair — that the words spoken to Mary, 'Do not be afraid', may reach them today, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That the mystery we celebrate today may renew our wonder at human life — our own lives and the lives of those we have been given to love, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.That our parish may be marked by a Marian spirit of humble availability — always ready to be used by God for purposes we cannot yet foresee, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

4.That we may enter these last days of Lent with renewed urgency, knowing Easter is near and we have not yet surrendered everything, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
