Option 1

1.That the Church on earth may always remember and pray for the souls of the faithful departed, especially those most in need of God's mercy, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That world leaders may promote peace and justice, so that fewer souls may be lost to violence and war, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For all who are mourning the loss of loved ones, that they may find comfort in the hope of the resurrection and the communion of saints, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That we may live our lives in such a way that we are always prepared to meet the Lord, and that our prayers may assist the souls in purgatory, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.That our local community may be a people of fervent prayer for the dead, trusting in God's infinite mercy and love, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
Optional:For our sick, bereaved, etc., and for those who have no one to pray for them.Lord, hear our prayer.

1.For Pope Leo XIV and all pastors, that they may faithfully offer the Eucharistic sacrifice for the repose of the souls of the faithful departed, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That all humanity may recognize their mortality and seek the eternal life offered by Christ, who conquered sin and death, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For the souls in purgatory, especially those who are most forgotten or have the greatest need of our prayers, that they may soon behold the face of God, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
