Option 1

1.That the Church, sharing in the sorrows of Mary at the foot of the Cross, may always be a compassionate mother to all who suffer, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That governments may adequately fund mental health and bereavement support services for those overwhelmed by grief and loss, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

1.For Pope Leo XIV and all pastors, that they may be ministers of comfort and hope, like Mary, to those whose hearts are heavy, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That governments may protect and fund hospice and palliative care for the dying and those who accompany them, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those who are tempted to despair in their afflictions, that the example of Mary's steadfast faith at the Cross may inspire them, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That we may have a deep devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows, seeking her intercession in our trials and uniting our tears with hers, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
