Option 1

1.That the Church may be like the scribe trained for the kingdom — drawing from her treasury things both new and old — faithfully handing on Tradition while speaking freshly to each age, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That leaders of nations may seek the treasure hidden in the dignity of every human person and sell all that hinders them from protecting and serving it, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those who have not yet found the pearl of great price, that they may encounter Christ — in whom all treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden — and joyfully surrender everything to follow Him, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That we may have the joy of the man who found treasure in a field: ready to sell all, to give up anything, for the incomparable privilege of belonging to God's kingdom, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

4.That we may imitate the merchant who, on finding one pearl of great price, went and sold everything he had — and bring that same total surrender to our following of Christ, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.For our community, that each member may recognize the extraordinary treasure they hold in faith, in the sacraments, in the Word of God — and share it generously with all, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

Option 1
