1.That the Church may always speak with Christ's authority the words most needed by a wounded world: take courage — your sins are forgiven, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That world leaders may govern with the compassion of Christ who, seeing the paralysed man, first healed what no one else could see — the wound of sin and guilt, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those paralysed by guilt, shame, or the weight of past failures, that they may hear Christ's word spoken to them personally: take courage — your sins are forgiven, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

2.That lawmakers may rise from the paralysis of political calculation and stand to defend the lives of those who cannot defend themselves — the unborn, the frail, the forgotten, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For women paralysed by fear of an unexpected pregnancy, that they may hear Christ's word: take courage — and find in our community the practical help that makes rising possible, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.For those who carry guilt from a past abortion, that they may receive Christ's healing word — your sins are forgiven — and experience the freedom to rise and walk in new life, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.That our local community may be astonished by the power of God's mercy and moved to glorify Him by caring for every vulnerable person He places before us, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
