2.For world leaders, that they may hunger and thirst for righteousness, governing not for applause or power but for the true flourishing of every person entrusted to their care, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those who mourn — the grieving, the brokenhearted, those crushed by loss — that Christ's promise may reach them: 'Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted,' let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That we may embrace the poverty of spirit that opens us to God, the meekness that trusts rather than grasps, and the purity of heart that sees God in all things and all people, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

2.That governments and civil leaders may be inspired by the Beatitudes to build societies that honor the meek, protect those who mourn, and pursue justice not merely legality, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those who are persecuted for their faith and insulted because of Christ, that they may hear his words: 'Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven,' let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

2.That legislators who hunger and thirst for true righteousness may protect children in the womb through just laws, for righteousness demands the defense of the most helpless, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For women facing unplanned pregnancies who mourn, who feel powerless, who are afraid, that Christ's Beatitudes may reach them as real promises of comfort, inheritance, and the Kingdom, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.For all who work as peacemakers between a mother in crisis and her unborn child, offering care and alternatives to abortion, that they may be called children of God, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.For children lost to abortion, for their mothers who carry grief, and for all who work to build a culture of life — that the reward promised to those who suffer for righteousness may be theirs in full, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
