Option 1
1.For the Church, that she may receive anew the living bread Christ gives — 'my flesh for the life of the world' — and go forth from every Eucharist transformed, to be bread broken for others, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.For world leaders, that they may be moved by Christ who feeds the hungry to enact policies that ensure every person has bread for both body and soul, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For all who have drifted from the Eucharist, that they may hear Christ's words today — 'Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him' — and return with longing, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That we may receive Holy Communion with deep faith in the Real Presence — true food, true drink — and allow this union with Christ to reshape every relationship and choice in our lives, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.For the faithful departed, that Jesus who promised to raise up on the last day all who eat his flesh may fulfill that promise and bring them to eternal life, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

1.For Pope Leo XIV and all priests, that they may celebrate the Eucharist with the conviction of Christ's own words: 'I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever,' let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That all peoples may come to know Christ's gift of himself — flesh and blood as real food and drink — and be drawn to receive the life that only he can give, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those who question how this can be, as the crowd did — 'How can this man give us his flesh to eat?' — that faith may open what reason cannot unlock, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That our adoration of the Blessed Sacrament today may deepen our understanding that it is Christ himself who dwells among us: the same Jesus who said 'Just as I have life from the Father, so whoever feeds on me has life from me,' let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.For our parish, gathered at this Corpus Christi celebration, that our devotion to the Eucharist may overflow into concrete acts of service for those who hunger for bread and for love, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

Option 1
1.For the Church, that she may proclaim the mystery of the Eucharist not only in word but in care for the hungry, knowing that Christ who gives his flesh for the life of the world demands that we do the same for one another, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.For all governments, that they may be moved by the example of Christ who feeds the multitude to address food insecurity, poverty, and all that leaves people without bread, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those who receive the Eucharist today, that the union Christ promised — 'whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him' — may deepen into every hour of the coming week, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That we may bring our hungers honestly before God today — for love, for healing, for meaning, for peace — and trust that he who gives his flesh for life can satisfy every true longing, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

2.That all people who long for something more than what the world offers may discover that the longing is for God himself, given to us in the Bread of Life, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
