Option 1

1.For the Church, that she may always proclaim the two great commandments as the heart of Christian life: love of God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love of neighbor as ourselves, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.For world leaders, that they may govern with genuine love for those they serve, not from ambition or self-interest, but from dedication to the common good, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those who feel burdened by rules and obligations, that they may discover the freedom of the two great commandments which sum up all the Law and the Prophets, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That we may hear Christ's words — 'You are not far from the Kingdom of God' — as an invitation to take one more step in love, closing whatever distance remains between us and him, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.For the faithful departed, who strove to love God and neighbor, that they may now be welcomed into the Kingdom which Christ promised is near to those who love truly, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

1.For Pope Leo XIV and all teachers of the faith, that they may present the commandments not as a burden but as the shape of love: God first, neighbor always, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That all peoples may come to know the God who is one, and learn from his Son the only two commandments needed to order a just and peaceful world, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those trapped in legalism or moralism, that they may encounter Jesus who honors sincere seeking — 'You answered wisely' — and draws every honest heart toward the Kingdom, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.

Pro Life Option

1.For the Church, that the commandment to love neighbor as oneself may impel her to defend every unborn neighbor, whose life begins at conception, with the same passion she would defend her own, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That lawmakers may be moved by love of neighbor to protect children in the womb through just laws, recognizing that love of the weakest is the measure of love for all, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For women in unplanned or crisis pregnancies, that they may be loved as neighbors by their communities — accompanied, supported, and never abandoned in their hour of need, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That all who work in pro-life ministry may be motivated by the two great commandments: love of God who authors every life, and love of neighbor, born and unborn, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
5.For children lost to abortion and for their parents, that the God whose commandment is love may bring justice and healing, and draw all who grieve into his merciful embrace, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
