1.For the Church, that she may welcome all who seek her, mirroring Christ's promise to turn no one away, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That world leaders may hear in Christ's words a standard for governance: do not drive away the refugee, the poor, the inconvenient — for the God of Easter drives away no one who comes, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those who have been driven away — by the Church, by family, by community — and who no longer believe any door is open to them, that the Risen Christ's own promise may reach them: I will never drive you away, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That we may approach the Risen Christ with the confidence His words invite — not anxious about whether He will receive us, but certain that whoever comes, He never casts out, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
