Monday – May 19th, 2025

  1. For Pope Leo XIV, that he may lead the Church with courage and transparency in addressing the wounds of sexual abuse, bringing healing to victims and accountability to the institution. Let us pray to the Lord.
  2. For government leaders, that they may reject empty idols and recognize the living God who provides for all peoples, let us pray to the Lord.
  3. For those struggling with physical disabilities, that they may find strength and healing through faith in Christ, let us pray to the Lord.
  4. For those facing religious persecution, that they may remain steadfast in their witness to the Gospel, let us pray to the Lord.

  1. For wisdom for Pope Leo XIV as he addresses financial challenges within the Vatican, that he may promote stewardship and accountability in the Church’s temporal affairs. Let us pray to the Lord.
  2. For world leaders working for peace, that their efforts may bear lasting fruit, let us pray to the Lord.
  3. For those experiencing hardship in their faith journey, that they may be strengthened by God’s grace, let us pray to the Lord.
  4. For those affected by violence, that they may find healing and justice, let us pray to the Lord.
    I. For those struggling with addiction in our community, that they may find freedom and support, let us pray to the Lord.
    II. For those who have died, especially N., that they may enter God’s kingdom of peace, let us pray to the Lord.

OPTION #2:

  1. That Pope Leo XIV’s leadership may inspire vocations to the priesthood and religious life, and a renewed appreciation for all vocations within the Church. Let us pray to the Lord.

Wednesday – May 21st, 2025

  1. For Pope Leo XIV, that he may continue to foster the inclusion and meaningful participation of women in Church leadership, building on his previous work in the Dicastery for Bishops. Let us pray to the Lord. 
  2. For those in authority, that they may work to promote religious freedom, let us pray to the Lord.
  3. For those seeking spiritual direction, that they may remain connected to Christ the true vine, let us pray to the Lord.
  4. For those burdened by poverty, that they may be supported by Christian charity, let us pray to the Lord.
    I. For those suffering from mental illness in our community, that they may receive proper care, let us pray to the Lord.
    II. For the souls of the faithful departed, especially N., that they may share in Christ’s resurrection, let us pray to the Lord.
