Monday – May 5th, 2025

  1. For the holy Church, that like Stephen she may be filled with grace and wisdom in proclaiming Christ’s truth, let us pray to the Lord.
  2. For government leaders working to address healthcare affordability, that they may implement just and effective policies, let us pray to the Lord.
  3. That those experiencing persecution for their faith may find strength in the Holy Spirit, let us pray to the Lord.

Tuesday – May 6th, 2025

  1. For the holy Church, that she may always witness to Christ with the courage of Saint Stephen, let us pray to the Lord.
  2. For those in public service, that they may work with integrity for the common good, let us pray to the Lord.
  3. That those suffering persecution may respond with forgiveness like Stephen, let us pray to the Lord.
  4. For those struggling with hunger and poverty, that they may receive the bread of life and earthly sustenance, let us pray to the Lord.

I. For those suffering from mental illness in our community, that they may find appropriate care, let us pray to the Lord.

II. For our deceased loved ones, especially N., that they may rest in Christ’s peace, let us pray to the Lord.

  1. That the Church may remain faithful in proclaiming Christ as the bread of life, let us pray to the Lord.

  3. That those scattered by violence and persecution may find refuge and welcome, let us pray to the Lord.
  4. For those experiencing physical or spiritual paralysis, that Christ may bring them healing and hope, let us pray to the Lord.

I. For healthcare workers serving in our local hospitals, that they may be strengthened in their ministry, let us pray to the Lord.

  2. For government leaders working to protect public safety, that they may serve with wisdom and justice, let us pray to the Lord.
  3. That those seeking spiritual guidance may find wise mentors in faith, let us pray to the Lord.
  4. For those studying Scripture, that the Holy Spirit may open their hearts to God’s word, let us pray to the Lord.

  2. For those in authority, that they may govern with justice and compassion, let us pray to the Lord.
  3. That those blinded by prejudice may have their eyes opened to God’s truth, let us pray to the Lord.
  4. For those who persecute others, that they may experience conversion of heart, let us pray to the Lord.

I. For those suffering from depression in our community, that they may find hope and healing, let us pray to the Lord.

II. For the faithful departed, especially N., that they may share in the joy of eternal life, let us pray to the Lord.
