The sets of intentions in this post contain two optional intentions, labeled I and II. Intention I addresses a local, topical need for the living, while Intention II is for the deceased, with an option to add names if customary.

OPTION #2

  1. For the Church in her mission to spread the Gospel and bring God’s love to all people.

  2. That all government leaders may make wise decisions to ensure the common good and protect the vulnerable. Let us pray to the Lord.
  3. For police officers, detectives, and all law enforcement personnel, that through their service they may be ministers of Christ’s peace and reconciliation. Let us pray to the Lord.
  4. That the spouses of law enforcement officers may be consoled amid long separations, and find hope and community support in their difficulties, let us pray to the Lord.
