Monday – January 20th, 2025
- For the Church, that she may faithfully proclaim Christ as the definitive Word of God to our world today, let us pray to the Lord.
- For government leaders, that they may govern with wisdom and justice, seeking the common good of all people, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those who have not yet encountered Christ, that they may open their hearts to his call to repentance and faith in the Gospel, let us pray to the Lord.

II. For those who have died, that they may dwell in the light of God’s presence, especially N., let us pray to the Lord.

- That the holy Catholic Church may always reflect the glory of Christ, the eternal Son of God, let us pray to the Lord.
- For world leaders working to address climate change, that they may implement effective policies to protect our common home, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those struggling with addiction, that they may find strength to repent and believe in the liberating power of the Gospel, let us pray to the Lord.
- For workers facing unemployment or underemployment, that they may find dignified work to support themselves and their families, let us pray to the Lord.
- For our parish community, that we may respond promptly to Christ’s call to discipleship in our daily lives, let us pray to the Lord.
I. For healthcare workers serving the sick and vulnerable, that they may be strengthened in their ministry of healing, let us pray to the Lord.
II. For the faithful departed, especially N., that they may share in Christ’s victory over sin and death, let us pray to the Lord.
Tuesday – January 21st, 2025
- For the Church, that she may remain anchored in hope and faithful to God’s promises like Abraham, let us pray to the Lord.
- For legislators working to address gun violence, that they may implement effective solutions, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those burdened by financial debt, that they may find pathways to stability, let us pray to the Lord.
- For all who hunger for justice, that like David’s companions they may be satisfied, let us pray to the Lord.
I. For those suffering from chronic pain or illness in our parish, that they may find comfort and strength in Christ, let us pray to the Lord.
II. For our deceased relatives and friends, especially N., that they may enter into the fullness of God’s glory, let us pray to the Lord.
OPTION #2:
- That the Church may continue to proclaim God’s unchanging love and faithfulness, let us pray to the Lord.
- For legislators working on healthcare reform, that they may create policies that ensure affordable care for all, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those facing persecution for their faith, that they may remain steadfast in hope, let us pray to the Lord.
- That we may show diligence in living out our faith until the end, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those struggling with hunger, that they may receive the nourishment they need, let us pray to the Lord.

Wednesday – January 22nd, 2025
- For the Church, that she may faithfully fulfill her priestly role of offering sacrifice and intercession for all people, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those in positions of authority, that they may govern with righteousness and work for peace, let us pray to the Lord.
- That we may recognize Christ as our eternal high priest, always interceding for us, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those with physical disabilities, that they may experience Christ’s healing touch, let us pray to the Lord.
- That we may have the courage to do good and save life, even when faced with opposition, let us pray to the Lord.
I. For those in our community struggling with substance abuse, that they may find support and strength to overcome their addiction, let us pray to the Lord.
II. For our departed brothers and sisters, especially N., that they may share in Christ’s indestructible life, let us pray to the Lord.

- That the holy Catholic Church may continue to proclaim Christ as the source of eternal salvation, let us pray to the Lord.

Thursday – January 23rd, 2025
- For the Church, that she may faithfully proclaim Christ as our perfect high priest who intercedes for us, let us pray to the Lord.
- For government leaders, that they may work to establish just laws that protect human dignity, let us pray to the Lord.
- That we may approach God with confidence, knowing that Christ always lives to make intercession for us, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those struggling with mental illness, that they may find appropriate care and support, let us pray to the Lord.
- That we may serve as Christ’s hands and feet, bringing his healing touch to those in need, let us pray to the Lord.
I. For our sick and bereaved, that they may find comfort in the love of Christ, let us pray to the Lord.
II. For our deceased loved ones, especially N., that they may be purified and made perfect through Christ’s sacrifice, let us pray to the Lord.

I. For California, that communities may rebuild and recover from recent disasters, let us pray to the Lord.

Saturday – January 25th, 2025 (Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul)
- For the Church, that like St. Paul, she may be a faithful witness to Christ’s transforming love, let us pray to the Lord.
- For government leaders, that they may use their authority to protect religious freedom, let us pray to the Lord.
- That we may have the courage to respond to God’s call, even when it leads us in unexpected directions, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those persecuted for their faith, that they may find strength in Christ’s love, let us pray to the Lord.
- That we may be open to conversion experiences in our lives, allowing Christ to transform our hearts, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those who proclaim the Gospel, that they may do so with conviction and love, let us pray to the Lord.

- For the Church, that she may proclaim God’s word with joy and conviction, bringing light to those in darkness, let us pray to the Lord.

- That we may listen attentively to God’s word and allow it to transform our lives, let us pray to the Lord.
- For those oppressed by poverty, illness, or injustice, that they may experience the liberating power of Christ, let us pray to the Lord.
- That we may recognize Christ’s presence in our midst and respond with faith and love, let us pray to the Lord.
