Option 1

1.That the Church may proclaim with confidence the sign of Jonah, Christ's death and resurrection, as the definitive answer to every demand for proof, calling all to repentance and faith, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.That those responsible for asylum and immigration policy may respond with urgency to those who flee violence and persecution, offering them fair processes and humane reception, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For those who have lost faith or feel abandoned by God, that they may encounter the living Christ in Scripture, the sacraments, and the believing community, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That we may hear Christ's word as a call to repentance, attentive to the voice of the One greater than Solomon and Jonah who still speaks, still calls, and still waits for our response, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
