OPTION #1
- For the holy Church of God, that all believers may be one in heart and mind, let us pray to the Lord…
- For those who govern nations, that they may act with wisdom, integrity and concern for the poor, let us pray to the Lord…
- For an end to violence, injustice and oppression throughout the world, let us pray to the Lord…
- For all who suffer persecution, poverty, illness or heartache, that they may know God’s compassionate love, let us pray to the Lord…
- For our parish community, that we may be a sign of Christ’s presence to our families and neighbors, let us pray to the Lord…

OPTION #2
- For the Church in her mission to proclaim the Gospel, let us pray to the Lord.

- For the sick and suffering, that through the prayers of the Church and the anointing with oil, they may find relief, let us pray to the Lord.
- For our community, that we may be instruments of God’s love and mercy to those around us, let us pray to the Lord.
