  1. For the holy Church of God, that all believers may be one in heart and mind, let us pray to the Lord…
  2. For those who govern nations, that they may act with wisdom, integrity and concern for the poor, let us pray to the Lord…
  3. For an end to violence, injustice and oppression throughout the world, let us pray to the Lord…
  4. For all who suffer persecution, poverty, illness or heartache, that they may know God’s compassionate love, let us pray to the Lord…
  5. For our parish community, that we may be a sign of Christ’s presence to our families and neighbors, let us pray to the Lord…

OPTION #2

  1. For the Church in her mission to proclaim the Gospel, let us pray to the Lord.
  2. For those in authority, that they may enact policies that uplift the poor and marginalized, let us pray to the Lord.
  3. For the sick and suffering, that through the prayers of the Church and the anointing with oil, they may find relief, let us pray to the Lord.
  4. For our community, that we may be instruments of God’s love and mercy to those around us, let us pray to the Lord.

  4. For those who are homeless or lack life’s basic necessities, let us pray to the Lord…

  6. For our youth and young adults, and those who guide them, let us pray to the Lord…
