Prayers of the faithful for International Women’s Day
The sets of intentions in this post contain two optional intentions, labeled I and II. Intention I addresses a local, topical need for the living, while Intention II is for the deceased, with an option to add names if customary.
OPTION #1
- That the holy Catholic Church may be united in fidelity to the Pope and Bishops, let us pray to the Lord.

- For women who are caregivers, that they may be strengthened and supported in their work, let us pray to the Lord.
- For women in the sciences and the arts, that their work may be recognized and celebrated, let us pray to the Lord.
- For young women, that they may receive the education and encouragement they need to pursue their goals, let us pray to the Lord.
