1.For the Church, that she may be drawn always to the Heart of Christ who reveals the Father to the humble and the little ones, and may never mistake worldly sophistication for the wisdom that comes from knowing him, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.For world leaders who carry the burdens of governance, that they may bring those burdens to Christ who says: 'Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest,' let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For all who are exhausted — by illness, grief, addiction, overwork, or despair — that today they may truly hear the Sacred Heart's invitation: 'Come to me,' and find in him the rest that the world cannot provide, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
