Prayers of the Faithful for THE MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST
Option 1
1.For the Church, that she may receive anew the living bread Christ gives β 'my flesh for the life of the world' β and go forth from every Eucharist transformed, to be bread broken for others, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
2.For world leaders, that they may be moved by Christ who feeds the hungry to enact policies that ensure every person has bread for both body and soul, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
3.For all who have drifted from the Eucharist, that they may hear Christ's words today β 'Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him' β and return with longing, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
4.That we may receive Holy Communion with deep faith in the Real Presence β true food, true drink β and allow this union with Christ to reshape every relationship and choice in our lives, let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
