Prayers of the faithful for Kindness
The sets of intentions in this post contain two optional intentions, labeled I and II. Intention I addresses a local, topical need for the living, while Intention II is for the deceased, with an option to add names if customary.
OPTION #1
- For the Church, the Body of Christ, that we may be ever more united in faith as we proclaim the Gospel to the world, let us pray to the Lord.
- For leaders of nations, that they may promote kindness and mutual understanding among diverse peoples, let us pray to the Lord.
- That kindness may overcome prejudice, breaking down barriers that divide people based on race, religion or backgrounds, let us pray to the Lord.

- That medical professionals may treat every patient with skill, compassion and kindness, let us pray to the Lord.
- For generous souls in our parish who reach out with kindness to the hungry and homeless, let us pray to the Lord.

- For an end to violence, abuse and cruelty within families, replaced by kindness and mutual respect, let us pray to the Lord.
- For all who visit the sick, imprisoned or homebound, bringing them kindness and Christ’s love, let us pray to the Lord.
