Prayers of the faithful for Today

Here are prayers of the faithful for this week Monday April 14th – Sunday April 20th 2025, and written following the instructions of the General instructions of the Roman Missal.

Monday – April 14th, 2025

  1. For the holy Church, that she may faithfully witness to Christ who brings justice to the nations, let us pray to the Lord.
  2. For leaders in government and public service, that they may govern with wisdom and compassion, let us pray to the Lord.

  3. For those who feel their work is in vain, that they may find renewed purpose in Christ, let us pray to the Lord.

I. For those suffering from mental illness in our parish, that they may receive proper care and support, let us pray to the Lord.
II. For our deceased loved ones, especially N., that they may rejoice in God’s presence, let us pray to the Lord.
